Do I need to purchase a meal plan?

Yes! It's a great value and Chapman University's policy is that all designated Campus Residents purchase a meal plan each semester.  While meal plans are not required for commuter students, purchasing a plan provides great value and convenience.

Do Panther Bucks carry over from year to year?

No.  Please contact Bhathal Student Services at (714) 997-6617 to confirm the specific terms and conditions of your plan.

Do Meal Plans carry over from semester to semester?

Terms vary depending on the meal plan that you have selected. Please visit our meal plan page for the specifics of each plan.

What happens if I don't use all my meals in a given week?

Your unused meals are forfeited when your meals reset each week.

What are Panther Bucks?

Panther Bucks are cash values included in all meal plans. They work like a pre-paid debit card with funds kept on your student ID card. Panther Bucks may be used at any on-campus restaurant location.

Can I change my meal plan if it does not fit my needs?

Yes! Changing your resident dining meal plan can be done at any time during the first three weeks of each semester.

If I'm not a Resident Hall Student, where do I buy my meal plan?

If you live off-campus, you can purchase any meal plan here or by visiting the Bhathal Student Services Center.
